Shri Nirmala Sitaram while encouraging start-ups
announced 10,000 crore in the Union BudgetFund.
Nirmala Sukharam has announced Rs 10,000 crore in
the Union Budget to promote the startup scheme. The industry sector has
welcomed this decision. It is being expressed that people who are trying to
enter the industry sector by starting a startup will get a great boost.
The central government had announced Startup India
on January 16, 2016, to develop innovative technology and industry sectors in
the country. At that time, a fund of Rs 10,000 crore was set aside. After that,
it is once again making provisions in this budget. More than 46,000 of these
starters are working in areas like artificial intelligence, biotechnology,
knowledge technology, robotics, technology hardware. According to the data from
the central government, one lakh 52 thousand 149 hours have been registered in
55 well-developed sectors till October 31, 2024. The private sector has so far
invested Rs 20,772 crore in these startups.
Sitharaman said that so far, private companies have
promised to invest more than Rs 91,000 crore in the film industry, to which the
central government will now add an additional fund of Rs 10,000 crore. This
decision will help aspiring entrepreneurs. At the same time, it will be a good
way to get domestic capital for startups. Domestic enterprises will get capital
and it will help India become stronger in the global startup landscape.
The industry has welcomed these efforts. The central
government has added Rs. 100 crore to the previous fund, which will provide
nourishment for developing innovative technology industries. This capital will
encourage startups. Along with this, it is being drawn to the fact that
employment will come from the bank. In addition, a special fund has been set up
for the first five lakh women, scheduled castes and tribes. It is believed that
this decision of the government will benefit the society by increasing
entrepreneurship.
